About “Maui Sustainability Learning Center”
Maui Sustainability Learning Center (MSLC) is a 501(c) (3) non-for-profit organization. Its mission is to promote sustainable practices through classes, workshops, volunteer opportunities and hands-on training. Its focus is on sustainable food and energy production. It hopes to inspire people to pursue a lifestyle that is not only financially viable, but very importantly,environmentally friendly and sustainable.
The center plans to offer educational programs and workshops on sustainable agriculture, aquaponic food production, organic farming, natural farming, renewable energy technology application, soil and water conservation, permaculture, native Hawaiian plants, Hawaiian culture and crafts, health and wellness, diet programs, and other sustainable eco-friendly activities.
